As SHS continues to adapt to the needs of our patients and our community during the COVID19 pandemic we’d like to make the following announcements;

*Starting July 6th, 2020 inpatients, outpatients & clinic patients will be allowed 1 designated, consistent visitor/companion. This individual will be required to wear a mask, must be healthy and may be asked to undergo temperature monitoring. Visitors will be asked to remain with their patient and access around campus is still restricted. COVID19 patients (and others requiring isolation precautions) are exempt from this change and will not be permitted any visitors. Inpatients in our ICU & Medical/Surgical units will have visiting hours from 10am-8pm only. Our cafeteria remains closed to visitors.

*Our Drive Thur COVID19 testing site will move back to our EMS building starting July 6th, 2020. They are open Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 8am-2pm.

*We will begin offering COVID19 antibody testing to the public on July 8th, 2020. If a patient wishes to have the testing cost submitted to insurance a provider’s order will be required. If a patient is self-paying for the test no order is required and the cost is $35. No appointment is needed and the test can be done at our main hospital lab or our draw station on Park Street. As a reminder, regardless of test results precautions to limit the spread of COVID19 should still be taken. The antibody test is done using a blood draw.

*Masks are still required for all patients & visitors. We ask that you wear your own, but if needed we will provide one.

Thank you for your understanding & flexibility as we continue striving to provide quality care as safely as possible!
